Welcome to BīFolkal Productions! For nearly five decades, BīFolkal Productions has been dedicated to creating meaningful reminiscence materials that inspire people to share stories from their past. Our multi-media and multi-sensory kits have enriched libraries, senior centers, schools, and intergenerational groups across the nation. From remembering the joy of summertime on a cold winter day to reflecting on work life, we empower individuals to connect through shared memories.
Partnered with MEternally, we can continue our legacy of making timeless resources accessible to professional and personal caregivers. As one woman told us after a program talking about school days with a visiting class: “By sharing our stories with them, we can remember into the future!
The Past
About Us
At BīFolkal Productions, we believe in the power of story. The folk tradition of handing
down stories has always been at the center of our work, and so the word FOLK is at
the center of our name. Like bīfocal lenses that have two focuses, so do our materials.
Those focuses are remembering and sharing. And that’s the way it’s been since 1976.
Our Mission
Our mission is to encourage the sharing of memories in groups of older adults and the
exchange of experiences in intergenerational groups.

Bī-Folkal Productions is proud to partner with MEternally, a company that shares our mission to bring joy through reminiscence. Together, we’ve updated and expanded some of our classic kits, transitioning outdated formats to accessible DVDs, CDs, and USB drives.
Sally Mathews Inglett heads up a team who believes:
When we tell people about our lives, we are sharing our history and our identity. By viewing photo collections we initiate conversations about our favorite things and share our life stories with others. This allows us to reflect on the things and people in our present and past. By doing so we are preserving and sharing our history and reflecting on our worth and the importance of our own existence.
